The Schaefer Duster has set the standard by which all other dusters are measured. A rugged, functional coat with distinctive Schaefer design. Full length with snapped deep center vent and Schaefer's exclusive expandable riding gusset. The generous cut allows for layering and the nylon lining acts as a windbreak. Inside snaps are added to shorten the length by 12" or to snap each side of the bottom around your legs for added protection. Made of 11 oz. pure cotton Fenceline canvas and finished with heavy-duty two-way zipper/brass hardware, plenty of pockets inside and out, double storm flap, drawstring waist w/barrel locks and a corduroy collar. Sunrise. Time to saddle up and check the herd...fence mending is alost a sure thing. Schaefer's new hard-riding, easy wearing El Dorado Drifter is a must have. Made of rugged 11 oz. Fenceline Canvas that's been vintage washed so it's broken in, but there's still plenty of resin in the shell and lining to keep it wind and water resistant. The weathered full grain leather collar and front/back western yoke piping is a nice touch. There's plenty of hand tialored ranch-ready details including six outside pockets, a zippered inside security pocket, inside cell phone pocket, two zippered storm flap front, drawcord waist, double snap-out side riding vents and adjustable cuff tabs. Unlike the common "oilskins" that are saturated with oil, Schaefer has taken much of the oil out and replaced it with wax. There was a time when the detail of a ranch coat didn't make a dent on a mosquito's forehead. Not with the limited edition Taos though. What you'll appreciate the most is Schaedfer's full-grain yoke and collar, tanned and drum-dyed in America, 11 oz. Fenceline canvas shell, the Navajo Jacquard Blanket lining and 100 gram Thinsulate sleeves. The full-length, Vislon front zippered is covered by a storm flap closure that snaps over the zipper forming a weather tight seal. The two front double entry cargo pockets have ample fold over weather flaps that close with hook and loop fasteners. The sleeve cuffs open to a full 8 1/2" across can be adjusted with hook and loop tabs for a snug fit. Two large interior chest pockets are featured one with a 7" zipper and the other with an elasicized top for a cell phone.
